About IFMA

IFMA (Aviation Professions Training Institute), a subsidiary of Groupe Europe Handling (GEH), has been playing a key role in professional training in the aviation sector for almost 20 years. For the 7th consecutive year, it is among the TOP 10 schools in the world accredited by IATA.

As a partner located close to Roissy Charles De Gaulle and Orly airports, but also present throughout the world, IFMA has developed a training range for both its partners and customers and for the Group’s employees. IFMA brings all its experience and expertise to bear in staff training.

IFMA offers flexible training solutions in the classroom or in the company to meet all budgets and needs. Our unique industry insight guarantees that our diplomas and courses are effective. 

Vocational training but also training in regulatory compliance, which is essential to the aviation business - training in dangerous goods, safety and security training is provided by teams of experienced instructors, qualified by the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) or by IATA. IFMA also offers coaching and practice sessions for all of these training areas.

In addition to its training classrooms for the theory work, IFMA also has direct airside apron access so that trainees can carry out practical training directly on the aircraft.

Classwork, workshops and ramp area exercises are the guarantee of successful safety and security training, the top priority of the IFMA training institute.

Accreditations, approvals and certifications

IATA

IFMA is IATA accredited for training in air transport of Regulated Dangerous Goods. This worldwide reference label guarantees recognised, high-quality training.

BVQI

Our ISO 9001/14001 and OHSAS 18001 Quality certifications guarantee a high-performance organisation system. There are two major objectives: reinforce the quality of our services to improve your satisfaction on a day-to-day basis and continue to promote safety and security.

DGAC

The training provided by IFMA to obtain driver’s licenses for the aprons and manoeuvring areas of CDG and Orly airports are accredited by the DGAC (Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile – French Civil Aviation Authority) and soon, by the ADP Group (Groupe Aéroport de Paris) .

ISAGO

This IATA standard lists the safety requirements necessary for the correct performance of ground operations. It covers all areas: Passenger handling, Load Control - Traffic, Ramp, Aircraft handling and Loading, Baggage and Cargo handling. These are key requirements heavily dependent on training: to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of operations, as well as to reduce the risk of accidents and damage to aircraft.

CSCE

As a CSCE member since its creation, IFMA guarantees certified and standardised training. This is a collective and voluntary initiative by employers to reinforce the security of airport operations.

Qualiopi

Certification attesting to the quality of the process implemented by the training providers and allowing greater legibility of the training offer to companies and users.

Logistical assets

In the easily accessed IFMA premises , you are never far from an aircraft. The training centre is located at the very heart of the Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly airport areas, a proximity which means that theory and practice can be combined. Our membership of the Groupe Europe Handling gives us access to apron equipment and aircraft for truly hands-on training.

Development Office

Our Development Office coordinates with our Group and with the aviation authorities enabling us to stay abreast of the latest regulatory and technical developments in global air transport. Our training is therefore up- to-date at all times!
